A nourishing night cream from Raww Cosmetics, a classic cream for all the family by Weleda and a fabulous smelling liquid soap by the Australian Bosito’s brand are my three favourite natural beauty products this month.
My “Faves and Finds” post is back where I share some of my favourite natural and low tox products for the month as well as some new finds which might just end up a favourite next month!
Raww Super Hydrate ME Night Cream $29.99
I needed a new night cream and this one doesn’t disappoint! I am keen to try the day cream next.
Both the smell and texture makes this a winner for me! A mix of Apricot Kernel, Kakadu Plum Extract, Shea and Mango Seed Butters (YUM!) gives this night cream quite sweet and fruity smell.
It also contains Raww’s Wildberry Harvest concentrate which forms a protective, non-greasy barrier on the skin ideal for locking-in oils and serums. Other potent superfood ingredients include Macadamia Seed, Olive, Coconut, and Avocado Oils.
It’s designed to intensely nourish and care for dry skin as you sleep, and the creamy whipped texture feels hydrating yet not heavy on the skin.
The natural nutrients and antioxidants in this cream help smooth and firm the skin, calm redness and irritation, reduce pigmentation, protect against the effects of pollution and free radical attack, fight signs of premature aging and support skin renewal. Does it all!

Weleda Calendula Nappy Cream $9.95
No we don’t have a baby in the house but this month I have been in need of some soothing cream for raw skin in a delicate area (won’t go into details) and my local health food shop recommended this. I am not sure why I haven’t bought this cream before for the cyclists in our house!
Weleda is a well known natural range that has many great products including the famous skin food – a must-try if you haven’t already. This calendula range is great for babies and kids, and sensitive skin. Lovely smell and it did the job!
Find online and at health food stores and some pharmacies.
Bosisto’s Desert Lime and Eucalyptus Revitalising Hand Wash $6.00
Ok so I know it’s been Plastic Free July and we should have reverted to bar soaps but sometimes the liquid soap is just easier with kids AND I need to try new products. Actually I don’t think this is a new product for this Australian brand Bosisto’s but I discovered it recently and couldn’t resist trying since I love lime and eucalyptus! I wasn’t disappointed.
I am a sucker for smells and every time I wash my hands it just gives me a happy feeling. It has a gentle coconut derived base and uses Australian essential oils. There are no SLS, SLES, EDTA or Parabens. This liquid soap is palm oil-free, vegan-friendly and not tested on animals as well as being Dermatologist certified – a great option easily found at supermarkets and pharmacies. They do also have refill bottles so that helps with decreasing single-use plastic.
Find at Coles, pharmacies and online.
I’m most excited about trying the Biode deodorant ($19) which was the perfect new product purchase for #plasticfreejuly ! I’m so impressed that every bit of the packaging including the postage bag is biodegradable. I already use deodrant paste from a tub so am interested to try this one in a tube.
I noticed my husband is suddenly using my moisturiser, so as I was checking out the latest skincare products on sale at Woolworths this week I spotted the NEW Swisse men’s daily moisturiser ($7.20 usually $12) so popped it in the basket. It’s subtly placed by the sink ready for hubby to try.
It’s been a busy month with little time for me, so I decided to treat myself and my skin thanks to a lovely local brand I follow on Instagram – Coast Sydney Botanicals.
Now that I’m in my late 40’s, I feel like I need to add another layer of skincare to my routine apart from the oils I love and everyone seems to be talking about serums! So, Coast Sydney Botanicals new serum called Simply A+ ($49.50) has just arrived.
Simply A+ multi-function concentrated ѕkin serum targets fine lines with brightening and hydration benefits. It contains 6 superhero botanical ingredients including one that has a retinoid-like mechanism that smooths wrinkles. The ingredients are all-natural with no additives – just lots of botanical goodness. Can’t wait to see what it does for my skin!
